This is because you need to find your niche so that you do not keep jumping from one subject to another and confuse your readers. You are more likely to have many followers if at all readers know what they will find when they read your books instead of always keeping them on their toes wondering on what you are going to write on next. While in other aspects of life, the element of surprise spices life, in writing it may not sit well with your readers. Therefore research on the subjects that you want to write on and note that they have to be things you are passionate about if at all you want to be able to come up with ideas on the subjects to write on. Click here for more info.

So much in comic book writing is based on the audience that you are targeting, in fact, they too may influence the subjects that you write on. For example, if you are targeting lovers of political satire, you may have your work cut out for you regarding the subjects that you can write on and the illustrations you can use in the same way those who write comic books on superheroes have.

Another thing to note when writing a comic book is the length of the content. This is because different subjects that hold the attention of readers for different amounts of time, therefore, make sure that the subject that you write about matches the size of the book. It is at this point that you have to decide if you want to write all the content you have in one book or simply spread it out in periodicals that come out regularly whether it be weekly, biweekly, monthly or even quarterly. Click here for more info.
